Those who still couldn't see text after previous fix, please test either with
the latest daily build from last night, or the updated 5.4.0.3 prerelease build
from [1] (file name is still LibreOffice_5.4.0.3_Win_x86.msi, but it was
updated today). The fix to bug 109281 should help here as well.
