            Bug ID: 110438
Summary: : cursor position never correct with DELL XPS 13 9360
           Product: LibreOffice
           Version: 5.2.7.2 release
          Hardware: x86-64 (AMD64)
                OS: Windows (All)
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: medium
         Component: Writer
          Assignee: libreoffice-bugs at lists.freedesktop.org
          Reporter: a_aus_b at yahoo.de

When I tried to create a document at first I wanted to change the font and size
but when clicking at the down arrows I got transfer format (in german
language), when clicking to change the size it shows me "undo" (CTRL-Z). Then I
realized that this happens because the focus for the cursor is wrong (a little
bit down it seems to work). But this is not the only point. When editing the
document I tried to position the cursor but it never shows the focus so that it
is really hard to make changes within a document.
Focus is also the main problem because wherever you click icons at the top you
safely miss what you want to do.
To solve this problem I tried all available display resolutions from
3200x1800(recommended setting) down until 800x600 without success. Also
changing just the font sizes for various items like headers, menus, message
fields did not help me.

I also updated everything, even the BIOS but no light at the end of the tunnel.

Honestly spoken, I am not sure if this is a bug in LibreOffice or Windows 10 or
a driver problem for the graphics chip (Intel) or if I need to contact DELL in
this case. I appreciate if you can tell me.

Best regards,
Andreas
