We talked in the design meeting about this and came to the conclusion of one
icon for currency, in general. It's up to the icon designer to find a creative
solution with a bill, coins, or whatever that doesn't use a particular currency
sign.

So if Tango uses $ instead of £ it's NOTOURBUG.
