Bug ID: 108309
Summary: Cannot avoid the "Delete Contents" dialog on Mac
Product: LibreOffice
Version: 5.3.2.2 release
Hardware: All
OS: Mac OS X (All)
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: enhancement
Priority: medium
Component: UI
Assignee: libreoffice-bugs at lists.freedesktop.org
Reporter: claytondewey at gmail.com
Description:
There is only one delete button on a Mac keyboard (rather than backspace and
delete) so there is no option to bypass the "delete contents" dialog in a
spreadsheet.
I suggest there be a keyboard shortcut available, such as "SHIFT + delete"
Thanks!
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Open a spreadsheet on a Mac
2. Hit delete button within a cell
Actual Results:
Dialog appears
Expected Results:
Contents are deleted without a dialog appearing.
Reproducible: Always
User Profile Reset: No
Additional Info:
User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10.12; rv:53.0)
Gecko/20100101 Firefox/53.0
