Bug ID: 108659
Summary: Page numbers automatically starts from fist page.
Functional problem - Presentation.
Product: LibreOffice
Version: 5.3.3.2 release
Hardware: Other
OS: Mac OS X (All)
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: normal
Priority: medium
Component: LibreOffice
Assignee: libreoffice-bugs at lists.freedesktop.org
Reporter: laarsino at gmail.com
Description:
I wanted the numbers to start at a certain page, since the first side in the
presentation is not part of the presentation but a cover sort of speak.
But the pagenumbers automatically start giving numbers from the first
page/slide.
Maybe I have been to comfortable when working in studio where of course I can
do that in In-Design. (I happily dont remember ms excel if that is possible)
But it would be a great thing if it was possible to choose when the numbering
of the slides/pages starts, right in the textbox.
Steps to Reproduce:
1.Tried to find settings for the automatic numbers in the folders
2.Tried to find settings for the automatic numbers right clicking the box with
the automatic number in the textbox.
3.
Actual Results:
No settings of any kind for automatic pagenumbering.
Expected Results:
Nothing
Reproducible: Always
User Profile Reset: No
Additional Info:
Would be a nice feature to have in both, presentation, spreadsheet and writer.
So it is easy to destinguish between frontpages and the real
dokument/presentation.
It could out in the future be cool to have advanced settings where a number
with a letter on for reference dokuments in the back. The possibility to jump a
number, or have a blank page and keep the correct numbering through the
dokument. But I dont see them as really necessary now but maybe in 1/2 to 1
year, would be a great feature.
