There is not yet a simple way to edit help, but the documentation mentor has
kindly agreed to input help additions sent to him in a simple format (Writer
file). The doc team really needs more people, so do consider joining for a
longer period of time.

The help files for mail merge seem to be here, see at the bottom, the ones
starting with mailmerge or mm_:

You could install offline help and find the pages there more easily..
