It is by default hidden on canvas, it only becomes visible if formatting marks
are enabled, or is that also not hidden by default in your view?

I'm not a benjamin user, and doubt benjamin users would hide text or turn on
formatting marks, and even i was confused why enabling formatting marks didnt
unhide the hidden text, when this was normal behaviour in MS, WPS, Abiword, etc
when hidden text is dependant on the enablement of formatting marks. In
Wordperfect, hidden text is independant from formatting marks, so it has a
toggle entry in the View menu for showing and hiding. This suggestion is for
eve level users, so maybe the best solution if it isnt on by default is to go
the Wordperfect route and decouple it from formatting marks and have an entry
for it in the View menu.
