Although it may not be not pertinent to this issue, opening a 542 page document
is faster than before.

Saving a document, even after a single character change take longer. It 
executes two cycles. The first cycle, which shows the progress bar, is very
fast. The second cycle, which does not show as progress bar anymore, takes
minutes.
