I tested the issue against 5.2.6 on Fedora 25, and it appears that the behavior
has gotten worse. Fewer of the boxes preserve the text when exported to SVG.

Steps to reproduce with a new file:
* Create an new drawing
* Add a rectangle
* Set the area transparency to 100%
* Click on the rectangle shape's boarder so that you can add text to its center
* Type a few words
* Export as SVG
* Open the exported file in LibreOffice

Expected results:
* The rectangle shape will contain the same words
* Clicking on the rectangle shape's boarder should allow you to edit the
previously entered text

Observed results:
* The rectangle shape contains no words
* Clicking on the rectangle shape's boarder allows you to add new text
