Using v5.3.3.2 on Mac OS 10.12.5 I continue to have the same behaviour as
described so elegantly by Jim DeLaHunt in comment 92.

In trying to use the Upgrade of extensions, there was one occasion where a
window popped up alluding to an Internet problem. Unfortunately, I was unable
to capture the message.
