I'm sorry, looks like the bibisect builds start with a different VCL than my
local install.

Using SAL_USE_VCLPLUGIN=gen, I could reproduce the bug in the `oldest` builds
of both bibisect-linux-64-5.3 and bibisect-linux-64-5.4, and will now work my
way backwards as fast as my downstream permits ;)
