--- Comment #1 from Carlos Sevcik <carlos.sevcik.s at gmail.com> ---
The program looks for libraries where they don't exist in Mint 18.2 or Ubuntu
17.10, look the results pf running the following command in my machine:
csevcik at macsi /opt/libreoffice5.4/program $ ./soffice
/opt/libreoffice5.4/program/oosplash: error while loading shared libraries:
libXinerama.so.1: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory
in machines where Linux Mint evolved from 18.0 -> 18.1 -> 18.2 the libraries
were in a directory named /usr/local/i386-linux-gnu which contained 32 bit
libraries in spite of Mint being for 64 bit machines. Do not know when along
Mint upgrades and updates was the directory created before, or why is it not
being created now. But I thin 64Bit LO should look for the libraries it needs
in 64Bit directories. :-(
