Ok, the reason is you don't have Java runtime environment installed, but it
still should not crash.

You could try getting a backtrace of the crash:
https://wiki.documentfoundation.org/How_to_get_a_backtrace_with_WinDbg

So please try debugging before installing JRE and the info might be useful for
developers :)
