I can confirm that this bug is still present in:

Version: 5.4.3.2
Build ID: 92a7159f7e4af62137622921e809f8546db437e5
CPU threads: 4; OS: Mac OS X 10.11.6; UI render: default; 
Locale: en-US (en.UTF-8); Calc: group

The Full Screen shortcut keys have changed from Shift+Cmd+J to Ctrl+Cmd+F, but
the bug remains the same.

This has been a showstopper for me - I haven't used LO on OSX because of it.
Hope it can be resolved soon.
