I have been using Fedora 26 for almost half a year, and have been using
ibus-libpinyin all the time. I can type in Chinese without problem. I have
reported several ibus-libpinyin and fcitx related bugs, but they are far more
than unusable. 

I mark this as WORKSFORME. If you still encounter the same issue, please do the
following:
1. Upgrade to a newer libreoffice version and see if the bug is still there.
2. If bug still exists, provide your Operation System information, and
copy-paste the text of Help - About LibreOffice.
3. Then mark the bug status as UNCONFIRMED.
