Bug ID: 114172
Summary: FILEOPEN XLSX Long data labels not truncated in Calc
like in Excel
Product: LibreOffice
Version: 6.1.0.0.alpha0+ Master
Hardware: All
OS: All
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: normal
Priority: medium
Component: Calc
Assignee: libreoffice-bugs at lists.freedesktop.org
Reporter: kelemeng at ubuntu.com
Created attachment 138126

Example file made with Excel 2013
When a chart has a very long label for a data point, Excel truncates the long
label.
Calc on the other hand does not truncate it, but reduces the chart area size
instead.
This results in a smaller graphical chart and a larger data label area.
LO should be able to truncate long chart labels so that they fit in the
available area.
