Description:
Memory usage is steadily increasing every time when applying a new highlighting
color(and isn't released after document closing) This doesn't happen on
Windows.


Steps to Reproduce:

1. Open attachment 133999 [details] (bug 106617)
2. Select all CTRL+A
3. Apply highlighting
4. Repeat step 3 around 10 times by choosing different highlighting colors

Actual Results:  
Memory usage is steadily climbing


Expected Results:
Shouldn't happen
