@Tim : there used to be some SAL_VCL_DISABLE_GTK3 instruction or something like
that, that one could put into the .soffice script, or some other configuration
file (I must admit, I haven't really followed that side of things), so that the
VCL backend would revert back to a different default. If you could find that
instruction, you might be able to test whether the behaviour is the same
without the GTK3 backend.
