I have checked the software situation with components like the following again.
* Linux 4.11.1
* LibreOffice Writer 5.4.1.2-555.1, Build-ID: 40m0(Build:2)
* CUPS 2.2.3-214.3
* Kyocera P6021cdn (KPDL)


I duplicated the page from my test document. Now it is possible to get two
small pages on a single A4 page printed. But I find the text positions wrong
for the output from the second page in such a test case (while the print
preview looked so promising in the dialogue “Printing” after the selection of
the layout “2 pages per sheet”).


I would like to know also if a single small page from an example document could
be automatically duplicated on the chosen bigger page format (without immediate
form feeds).
