I have multiple tables in my document, rather than one long table. If I copy
one of the affected tables to a test file, it displays properly, but in the
main file, the second page has only a couple rows before splitting to the
third, the third page ha only a couple rows before splitting to the fourth,
etc.

Typing enter and delete before one of the breaks *temprarily* removes the
break, but it re-opens with the same break.

If I use the navigator to check each table, it keeps freezing and renumbering
them. Assuming it isn't actually moving them, which would be bad.
