The most likely commit seems to be cp#1000015 DOCX export: fix not-well-formed
XML on redline end + hyperlink

However, this section of code has completely changed, so it won't be trivial to
resolve.

The commit identified in comment 12 is the very large commit "Resolves:
#i33737# enable in-place editing of Input Fields"
