Bug ID: 113180
Summary: Stayle based Heading numbering broken or unusable
Product: LibreOffice
Version: 5.4.2.2 release
Hardware: All
OS: All
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: normal
Priority: medium
Component: Writer
Assignee: libreoffice-bugs at lists.freedesktop.org
Reporter: lobugs at ikr.uni-stuttgart.de
Since LO 5.4 it seems not to be possible to use styles for automatic numbering
of headings on different outline levels. In particular
- It is not possible to link Numbering styles to paragraph styles (fields
greyed out, see #112870, modifications are ignored)
- It is not possible to change the numbering/outline in a heading style (entry
in Tab "Outline and Numbering" greyed out)
Only direct formatting by Format->Paragraph works but this has to be done for
every paragraph and so is the contrary of "style based writing" which should be
the goal.
Or I am not able to find out how this is supposed to work, then sorry - but I
tried all ways. And the help is not helpful on this.
Thanks!
