            Bug ID: 113216
Summary: Styles and Formatting’ list’s characters cannot be
                    perceived on customized test document.
           Product: LibreOffice
           Version: 5.3.6.1 release
          Hardware: All
                OS: All
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: medium
         Component: Writer
          Assignee: libreoffice-bugs at lists.freedesktop.org
          Reporter: ricky.tigg at gmail.com

Case 1. While the project document is active.

Preliminary note : GNOME Tweak Tool’s Global Dark Theme is currently active as
background on both Linux, Fedora 26 and Centos 7.4.1708, on Writer respectively
as v. 5.3.6.1 and older version.

The text document affected by the issue is the project document and is titled
Linux_opas.odt (left-sided document), the new text document is titled
Untitled.odt (right-sided document). Strangely the interface appearance of the
active text document affects as well others non active and opened text
documents simultaneously.

- Case 1: While the project document is active, its own Styles’ list’s
characters are black; Because Dark Theme is also active, list’s characters
cannot be perceived and as a result a style cannot be selected on purpose.
- Case 2: While the new document is active, its own Styles’ list’s characters
are white; Because Dark Theme is also active, list’s characters can be
perceived and as a result a style can be selected on purpose.

Sample of the project document file will be provided on request from the
Canonical maintenance team.
