@Sheila : we'll need more information I'm afraid.

Please provide your hardware details, accessible via the

Apple menu > About this Mac

Also please indicate whether you are accessing the file from Dropbox or whether
the file is stored locally. From your description, it would appear that the
file is stored in a Dropbox folder ?

Please also indicate what kind of spreadsheet file :
Excel 97
Excel 2003
Excel 2010 or later
LO Calc

Does the spreadsheet file or any of the graphs reference external objects
(other sheets, CSV, data sources) ?

Ideally, we would need a minimalist spreadsheet which reproduces the problem
(even if just on your Mac) so that we can test independently, otherwise we will
be just guessing as to how the sheet is made up and might not be able to
reproduce in the same test conditions.

Also, you mention that the Mac reboots. Generally, a crash of this kind is
probably hardware related, to there should be a log stored in the system when
this happens. These logs are generally available via the Console.app, but the
files themselves are stored in the

/Library/Logs/CrashReporter or
/Library/Logs/DiagnosticReports

folders which are in the root directory of the volume on which the OS is
installed.

Ideally, it would be useful to have the log at the moment the crash occurs and
you can upload that/those files as an attachment to this bug report (Add an
attachment link). If the files are too big, then try and zip them with the OSX
provided compression utility.
