Word file that used to open with Writer

I hope to add screen shots of the warning/error messages that come up when I
try to open the file with the new Writer (LibreOffice 5.3.6). Funny thing - I
copied the file to the desktop in order to remove private information and then
attach it from there - but the copy file opens without any problem.  The whole
bug seems to be an intermittent fault.
