Old Word file converted to .odt

Thanks. I am on the point of uninstalling LibreOffice. Most of my old Word
files were created on LibreOffice then 'Saved as' Word files, simply because I
do not have a printer and not all the kind neighbours who will print for me
have LibreOffice - some of them have Word 2003 so I saved my .odt files in that
format for printing on their computers. Consequently, most of my older files
are stored both as .odt and as .doc files. I have been trying to open the
older .odt files with the intention of again saving as both .odt and .doc for
printing purposes. However, the new attached file is a conversion from .doc to
.odt using the wizard to convert an older .doc file that was created using Word
2003. Here's the thing - if you open the file it will probably open normally.
When I try to open and edit the newly converted .odt file in its current
location (the document folder where it is stored) I get the same error message
as in attachment 137161 above. BUT - if I copy the same file to my desktop I
can open and edit it without any problem. So the bug (if there is one) seems
to have something to do with the file location - although the desktop copy of a
file does not ALWAYS open normally. There seems to be an intermittent bug or
fault or whatever with my Windows 10. (I had the same problem with version
5.4.1 and hoped that the older 5.3.6 would work. Same result. Any clue as to
what the problem might be? I have used LibreOffice for many years (after
starting with OpenOffice) and have always enjoyed it - until now.
