Bug still present in 5.4.2.2, Linux Mint Mate 18.2. It's changed a bit, in that
the insert dialog goes away, but you still have to recalculate (F9), or make
some other change to the document for the insertion to be shown. Same symptoms
still exist in a recent daily build of 6.0.0.0.alpha0.
