I just read the other two bugs which were proposed as possibly related and I
can probably add some useful information.
I do have Dock in Auto-Hide mode.
The problem does occur after sleep, but not immediately, and the space in which
LO is running is not visible (is that logically equivalent to minimizing,
although it is not minimized to the Dock?) and has not been returned to after
sleep.
The hardware specs are:
Model Name: MacBook Pro
Model Identifier: MacBookPro11,3
Processor Name: Intel Core i7
Processor Speed: 2.8 GHz
Number of Processors: 1
Total Number of Cores: 4
L2 Cache (per Core): 256 KB
L3 Cache: 6 MB
Memory: 16 GB
Boot ROM Version: MBP112.0138.B40
SMC Version (system): 2.19f12
