It is now nearly 5 years since this enhancement has been requested. I see this
need as significant because a person wants to know the date of the document
CHANGE on the PRINTED SHEET.

I am new to Libre Office, finally giving up Windows and going back to Linux
after 15 years. No Save Date in Calc? Not even after this much time?

As to the info being in the file properties, it is also displayed on the Linux
file "ls -l" but that doesn't help those with a printed copy either.
