Subject: libreoffice: opens windows in wrong session

Dear Maintainer,
If one user has more than one session running on the same computer;
and one of these sessions has a LibreOffice app running; and the
user tries to open this app again in another session, a new window
for the app is opened in the first session.
This is very confusing, as it appears like nothing happens in the
session where the user is trying to do something. In the case where
I ran into this, all sessions were on the same physical terminal,
so the spurious windows in the first session were only found later,
but of course, having a word-processor window open on you out of
the blue is also confusing.
Actually, in second thought, there may be a security issue involved;
usually, each X session is isolated and cannot be manipulated from
the outside.
Simple procedure to reproduce:
1) In a desktop session, open LibreOffice Writer.
2) Open another session for same user. It doesn't have to be a
full desktop session -- you can use a text-only terminal such
as VT1.
3) In this new session, issue the command "lowriter".
4) See that nothing happens.
5) Go back to the original desktop session
6) See a new, "uninvited", Writer window.
Thanks,
Shai.
