Tried the Master build from 01-04-2018 of the Libre Office 6.1 Alpha and this
still wasn't fixed.
Even by going to Tools > Options > LibreOffice Dev Impress > General
Unticking "Only text area selectable" makes the text area only available by
double click.
However, the purpose should be for not having to make it necessary to
double-click but selecting the text input by single click. Selecting the Text
Box for dragging and other actions should only be done when selecting the
border.
