            Bug ID: 116775
Summary: Menus are blank in Xubuntu with Numix
           Product: LibreOffice
           Version: 5.1.6.2 release
          Hardware: All
                OS: All
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: medium
         Component: Writer
          Assignee: libreoffice-bugs at lists.freedesktop.org
          Reporter: documentfoundation.org at malevil.cc

Description:
Using LO writer with Xubuntu 16.04 on Thinkpad X301. With the system appearance
style "Numix", the menu contents after clicking one top menu point in the bar
(like File or Tools) are blank. The rows are still there and clickable, but are
all the same color.

After installing libreoffice-gtk3, it is switched and the menu content is back,
but the menu bar is blank (all File, Tools, Help etc headers).

Switching to "greybird" instead of "numix" system appearance style, fixes the
problem.

Tested the same on a Thinkpad T420s and had only the second problem: after
installing libreoffice-gtk3 and switching to "numix", the menu bar was blank.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. open writer on thinkpad x301 XUbuntu 16.04 with Numix appearence
2. click on "File"
3.

Actual Results:
Menu content is blank but clickable

Expected Results:
rows with textes should be shown

Reproducible: Always

User Profile Reset: No

Additional Info:
even disabling hardware acceleration did not fix the problem
