Description:
When I try to open Rich Text Document files recently written using LibreOffice
Wordpad, nothing happens. 
When I doubleclick on a file of type Rich Text Document which has newly been
written using Wordpad, Libreoffice Writer, a little blue circle rotates for a
short while, then disappears and the contents of the file is not appearing.
The browser is Google Chrome. My PC is a Lenovo stationary PC.

Steps to Reproduce:
1.Doubleclick file

Actual Results:  
rotating blue circle

Expected Results:
File did not open


Reproducible: Always


User Profile Reset: No



Additional Info:
File should have opened up and shown its content
