Bug ID: 117352
Summary: Firebird: Migration: LibO does not fully release file
when ODB file closed without saving after failed
migration attempt until LibO session is closed.
Product: LibreOffice
Version: 6.1.0.0.alpha1+ Master
Hardware: All
OS: All
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: normal
Priority: medium
Component: Base
Assignee: libreoffice-bugs at lists.freedesktop.org
Reporter: drewjensen.inbox at gmail.com
Description:
If an ODB fails to finish a auto-migration and is closed without saving
subsequent attempts to open the file will render a useless file, treated by
Base as if it has an embedded firebird database but with no tables, until the
Libo session is ended and the application restarted.
Tested with:
Version: 6.1.0.0.alpha1+
Build ID: 4dbce627d3643babaf90a93c70b365ff08abfca6
CPU threads: 4; OS: Linux 4.13; UI render: default; VCL: gtk2;
TinderBox: Linux-rpm_deb-x86_64 at 70-TDF, Branch:master, Time:
2018-04-28_22:03:31
Locale: en-US (en_US.UTF-8); Calc: group
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Open attached ODB file
2. Select Tables and begin an auto migration
3. Close the error message box displayed
4. Close the ODB file without saving it
5. Reopen the ODB file.
Actual Results:
The file is opened and status bar indicated this is a firebird database, but it
is not.
Expected Results:
The file is opened and recognized as HSQLdb database.
Reproducible: Always
