Just to fill you in with an update

Yesterday, I swapped external USB-device from a HP/USB to a Microsoft/Usb
pointing device (on win10, x64). I could not reproduce the problem with double
action (say open file twice or double click on sheet to trigger rename). 

A big relief - if this resolves this sticky problem - with many side effects
(say creating several folders instead of just one... - in file explorer).

And not the least all the copy/paste operations that were escaped when office
misinterpreted the double click (for example using line feed to paste copied
cells - not working).
