--- Comment #3 from Alex Thurgood <iplaw67 at tuta.io> ---
I triggered this a different way, but same result.

1) Started LibreOffice (master build)
2) Opened new Writer document
3) Tools > Extension Manager
4) Add
5) Wait for Finder...
6) Select an extension OXT in the Finder, more waiting....
7) Add for All Users
8) What happens next seems to vary :

- either the extension is installed and the details of the extension displayed
in the Extension Manager window, but everything in that window stops
responding, noen of the buttons, etc, respond to mouse click or key entry

- or the extension fails to install, which leads to the same lock-up of the UI.

9) Force closing LO via Cmd-Q or the LibreOffice application menu causes a
message to displayed "In order for this extension to function, LibreOffice
needs to be restarted" or something like that, with two buttons "Restart Now"
and "Restart Later". If Restart Now is clicked, LO will restart. If Restart
Later is clicked, the user is returned to the Extensions Manager UI and
everything is locked up again.
