No repro with test XLS file - no crash, I can edit, save, close, reopen this
file without any issues.



To turn off any erroneously activated OpenGL setting:

1) Start LibreOffice

2) LibreOffice Preferences menu - LibreOffice - View - Use OpenGL for all
rendering 

3) Untick the Use OpenGL for all rendering tickbox.

4) Click OK

5) Restart LO.
