(I'm still trying to understand the placeholders in LibreOffice Writer's Modern
business letter serif template.)

The online help About Fields
https://help.libreoffice.org/5.4/en-US/text/swriter/guide/fields.html?&DbPAR=WRITER&System=WIN
says "To update all of the fields in a document, press F9, or choose Edit -
Select All, and then press F9."

However, nothing happens when you do this. Maybe this information doesn't apply
to Placeholder fields. It does update e.g. Insert > Fields > Document > Sender
> Street if I change my address details in Tools > Options > Libre Office >
User Data

I think placeholder fields do less than other fields, so the documentation
should be clearer about this, explaining separately what they do and mentioning
here that they don't update.
