In further response to comment 8...

Yesterday, I submitted bug 115301 "textbox text shifted relative to graphic
objects when updated from Fedora 25 to Fedora 26.".  The last two attachments
to that bug:
* "shows the slide after the upgrade to Fedora 26."  (screen capture; jpeg
file))
* "shows the slide after the upgrade to Fedora 26, but zoomed in 250%"  (screen
capture, jpeg file)
were both created in the past few days (very late January 2018).  Those screen
captures show the transparencies of the objects in the slide to be something
other than "none".  That slide was created and last saved over a year ago with
all objects having transparency set to "none".  So, yes, I'm still experiancing
the problem reported in this bug (105424).
