I meant on the Properties sidebar, but I assume that they do the same thing.

Although I may have no choice but to (begrudgingly) accept your response, it
still doesn't make any sense that copying text from a text editor would produce
this action.  After all, it is plain ASCII text without any formatting.

Replacing the formatting when pasting makes it necessary to perform additional
steps to make that cell conform with the rest of the page.  These additional
steps don't really make sense.  It's bad enough that pasting is plagued by the
requirement to address the dreaded "Import Options" dialog that should have
been eliminated when it was reported as Bug 65872 over 5 years ago.  Pasting
should be as simple as pasting.
