I'm noticing the blue overlay/underlay too. More or less the problematic area
for me. Also reproduce it with:
Version: 6.2.0.0.alpha0+
Build ID: 8e9d43546c8e46ea635472ddf07f5c183dc13360
CPU threads: 4; OS: Mac OS X 10.12.6; UI render: default;
TinderBox: MacOSX-x86_64 at 49-TDF, Branch:master, Time: 2018-07-11_23:34:15
Locale: nl-NL (nl_NL.UTF-8); Calc: group threaded

Assuming that 6.1 isn't yet ready for release ?
Not yet, but I expect a few rough edges for 6.1
RC3 Week 31 , Jul 30, 2018 - Aug 5, 2018
Release 6.1.0 Week 32 , Aug 6, 2018 - Aug 12, 2018
