Are we speaking about the same recent regression that made this a lot slower? 
Did you test dump with procdump in Win?
Please write for both Win and Lin.

I have very slow fileopen which is 30 seconds with 6.2+ in Windows 7 (with
OpenCL, much longer without). 
libo-master~2018-07-09_23.19.04_LibreOfficeDev_6.2.0.0.alpha0_Win_x86
Same system, Lin 5.4 is around 3 secs, Win 5.4 is around 5 secs.
