Open LibreOffice draw.
Draw a rectangle using  the rectangle drawing tool
Choose a fill a color, the color of the shape will change BUT................
try the next step
Draw a rectangle again using the rectangle drawing tool with the same fill
color. 
You will notice that the fill color did not change but the fill color changed
in the first operation.

I am truly sorry for not providing accurate information, I will not try to
repeat it.
