thank you for your time and support.
I insert the caption by either right click -> caption or i go via the head menu
"insert" -> "caption"
You are actually right that the caption will be positioned below the graph by
reducing the chart area. This is actually a very good solution for now. Another
solution was, first inserting an empty chart, add the caption and then fill it
with my numbers. The caption stayed where it belongs.
I still consider this as an error that needs to be fixed in the future
versions.
Additonally, I do not understand why graphs in libre office have two frames.
One that is around the graph and another one that is around graph and caption.
And when changing the size of the frames, it can totally mess up the graph.
