The Picklist <=> Recent-Documents-List <=> Thumbnail views on the start center.

What affects one, affects all. Rendering the Thumbnail views can be suppressed,
but a generic MIME icon will be substituted. Also, the MRU rendeered to
StartCenter can be controlled directly--deletion of the thumbnail, or
manipulating the File -> Recent Documents list. 

Default MRU picklist is 25, meaning by default just 25 thumbnails appear on the
StartCenter. Only when the MRU count is increased does it make sense to be able
to filter the thumbnails on the StartCenter.

Rework and management of the MRU list is the gist of work to be done on bug
61174, complete things there and the GUI issues here will resolve.
