hmm, using Ubuntu 18.04 (wayland) and 6.2 I couldn't get the insert signature
line menu to activate while in a frame.

Using 6.1 build: f67c6912e8612c5850a5728c2222971b4ec130b9 dated 7/26

Both cases the insert signature line does place a graphic in the frame but it
doesn't actually show anything. 

Neither case caused a crash however.
