Bug ID: 118039
Summary: Page break after report header
Product: LibreOffice
Version: 5.4.5.1 release
Hardware: Other
OS: Windows (All)
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: normal
Priority: medium
Component: Base
Assignee: libreoffice-bugs at lists.freedesktop.org
Reporter: jose at arpro.net
Description:
The reportbuilder does not respond properly.
In a report that has report header and page header, there are two properties
that interfere with each other and give an unexpected page jump.
The first property is the "page header" of report properties, with value
"except in header / footer report"
The second property is the "Force new page" of report header, with value "none"
In a tabular type report, I am trying to get the first page to show the title
of the report at the top, followed by the page header and then the detail
lines.
When I delete the page header from the report header, I think I have to add a
duplicate at the bottom of the report header.
The most important thing is to avoid the page break after the report header.
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Create tabular report with assistant
2. Add page header and add column labels
3. Change property of the report "page header" to the value "Except in header /
footer of report"
4. Add section header report and add label title
5. Change the property of the report header "force new page" to value "None"
Actual Results:
A page break (unwanted) is created after the report header
Expected Results:
I need the first page to show the report title at the top, followed by the page
header (it can be a duplicate on the first page) and then the detail lines.
Reproducible: Always
User Profile Reset: No
