Bug ID: 118145
Summary: Document save freezes when cell comments are present
Product: LibreOffice
Version: 5.1.6.2 release
Hardware: IA64 (Itanium)
OS: Linux (All)
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: normal
Priority: medium
Component: Calc
Assignee: libreoffice-bugs at lists.freedesktop.org
Reporter: johnhce at hushmail.com
Description:
I have a spreadsheet with multiple tabs (about 10). The first sheet has dozens
of cells with comments. The other sheets do not have any. If I make a change
to the document and click Save on the toolbar on any sheet except the first,
the application will not freeze. If I click Save while viewing the first
sheet, the program will usually freeze. This does not happen every time but I
have never seen it freeze while viewing a sheet without cell comments.
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Create s sheet with many cell comments
2. Try to Save it
3.
Actual Results:
Program hangs for about 10 seconds. Window grays out as unresponsive.
Expected Results:
Should save the file without freezing
Reproducible: Sometimes
User Profile Reset: Yes
