IIRC the Formula Bar frame (F2 to focus) gets different handling from the cell
rendering on sheet, maybe a question for Eike or Kohei. Similar to content of a
Text box when rendered to canvas or when being edited.

Otherwise have you toggled the "Use printer metrics for text formatting" (Tools
-> Options -> LO Calc -> General: Input settings) for its  affect on text
rendering in cells?

And LO ability to correct this in some fashion remains impacted by lack of
floating point glyph positioning, bug 103332
