I cannot reproduce. I also tried with gtk3.

Tom: you might try launching from the command line with
SAL_USE_VCLPLUGIN=gen libreoffice
and then try to bring about the problem.

Please also copy and paste here the contents of your Help - About. This allows
us to know more about your system.

Set to NEEDINFO.
Change back to UNCONFIRMED after you have provided the information.
